Associations between objectively measured physical activity and later mental health outcomes in children: findings from the UK Millennium Cohort Study

This paper examines the relationship between objectively measured sedentary time and physical activity, and mental health in children from the UK Millennium Cohort Study (MCS). Accelerometer data were collected at age seven and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) scores at age 11. Associations between PA/sedentary time and SDQ scores were estimated using linear regression models.
